Passports and Visa

Every individual traveller regardless of age must have a valid passport. It must have at least six months before expiry at the time of travel (September 2010) -
New Zealand passport holder must have an electronic travel authorisation (see here for further details) -
People with non-New Zealand passports may require a re-entry visa for New Zealand -
if you have a previous criminal conviction you must declare this when applying for a visa (which is required) -
Your name as it appears on your passport must be used when booking your travel and accommodation. If the name on your air ticket does not match your passport you may be refused entry to the aircraft on departure
Pricing

The packages are costed in New Zealand dollars. The Hawai’i component has been converted from US dollars to New Zealand dollars at the rate on 5 November 2009 at NZ$1 = US$0.70. The US costs are subject to change (down or up) based on changes in the exchange rate until the time of full payment. -
Airline taxes at NZ$135 per person have been included. These charges subject to change up until time of full payment -
Hotel, excise and transport taxes in State of Hawaii have been included at 13.962%. -
A nominal bed bank levy on behalf of the organisers of the Gathering has been included -
Packages include return economy class airfares Auckland/Honolulu, accommodation and transfers at airport in Hawai’i -
Prices for children in rooms are on the basis of the child being an extra person accompanying the specified number of adults for the room -
Domestic air travel in New Zealand can be arranged at extra cost.
Payment schedule
Payment is required in steps between now and 1st July 2010:

A deposit of $500 per person is required at the time of booking. This will secure the airline seat and your requested accommodation. No booking will be confirmed until the deposit is received. This deposit is non-refundable -
Bookings (and the initial deposit of $500) must be received by 31st January 2010. -
A further deposit of $1000 must be received by 1 March 2010 -
On 1 July 2010 the remaining amount due for your travel and accommodation (including any add-ons) must be paid in full. The final amount due will be notified by 26 June 2010 and reflect any adjustments that need to be made (down or up) depending on the cross-rate between US and NZ dollars at the time. Travel documents will be issued when the final payment is received.
Deposits can be made by direct credit (preferred), credit card, or by cheque. No cash will be accepted.
